--------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora Update Notification FEDORA-2006-1026 2006-10-24 ---------------------------------------------------------------------
Product : Fedora Core 5 Name : perl-String-CRC32 Version : 1.4 Release : 2.fc5 Summary : Perl interface for cyclic redundency check generation Description : This packages provides a perl module to generate checksums from strings and from files. The checksums are the same as those calculated by ZMODEM, PKZIP, PICCHECK and many others. There's another perl module called String::CRC which allows to calculate not only 32 bit CRC numbers, but the generated sums differ from those of the programs mentioned above. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: Capital letters in the previous version's Release made upgrading to FC5 break. Changed the spec file to include the %{?dist} tag instead of hard-coding the dist. --------------------------------------------------------------------- * Tue Oct 17 2006 Robin Norwood <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> - 1.4-2.fc5 - Fix 'Release' to include magic .fc5 - see bugzilla #191686 --------------------------------------------------------------------- This update can be downloaded from: http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/updates/5/ 4826cfb553afa85afde2f6a1811cf39c12893d57 SRPMS/perl-String-CRC32-1.4-2.fc5.src.rpm 4826cfb553afa85afde2f6a1811cf39c12893d57 noarch/perl-String-CRC32-1.4-2.fc5.src.rpm b27598ff6fe07fd7c512c9dc0716632d7060b71f ppc/perl-String-CRC32-1.4-2.fc5.ppc.rpm cc5fca945234d3a396302e77a4afe376662b4db0 ppc/debug/perl-String-CRC32-debuginfo-1.4-2.fc5.ppc.rpm c8c04c862f1b679da33e9e25f9d07f0b3c7247a6 x86_64/perl-String-CRC32-1.4-2.fc5.x86_64.rpm d08040232c3281890b64751abba5813a1ac156a4 x86_64/debug/perl-String-CRC32-debuginfo-1.4-2.fc5.x86_64.rpm 3064d7606637f711ceb303b3e712009ea7b165ae i386/debug/perl-String-CRC32-debuginfo-1.4-2.fc5.i386.rpm 5e081dcab551ba68bee58eeeeefffd7a0dc7a495 i386/perl-String-CRC32-1.4-2.fc5.i386.rpm This update can be installed with the 'yum' update program.
