Diabetes care in pets is actually very similar to humans. The only difference
is that
you try to keep the blood glucose a bit high in pets, since they can't tell you
when
they are hypoglycemic, so it's more of a danger for them than in humans. You

Canine Diabetes Board... they have some very nice people there who really
can help.
