Here's a one in a million deal! I actually just got an email through one of my Georgia rescue lists from someone looking specifically to adopt a positive cat. Evidently she has one positive and one negative, healthy adult cats. She wants to adopt a 3rd cat and has elected to take in a positive! The email states she wants an adult positive cat that must be otherwise healthy because she does not want to expose her cats to anything new.
The post said that the group already had her lined up, but the people who were going to give up the positive cat they had found had decided to keep her! Even more good news. FeLV is not a death sentence or 'give me up' sentence!
Anyway, if anyone (Pam, in South Carolina?) knows of a positive needing a home in the Atlanta area please let me know.
