Do you have him on Lysine? If not, you should start giving him 500 mg/day crushed and mixed in his food (or in baby food if he won't eat it in his food, or you can pill him with it but it is a big pill).

Put a dollop of "untainted" baby food on top of the little pile with
the lysine mixed in. That gets them started and you have a better
chance of them eating all of it. Prayers that Crackers beats this
thing quickly.
