re:Ideas to make the car less stressful?

i asked my vet if i should give crackers something cuz he hates the vet ride...my vet told me that it doesn't really have a terrible effect on them..unless they are very old or ill...he said they usually get over it...and as i got home and crackers jump out of his carrier he ran right to food and was purring away...i just hold him on my lap...usually my sister takes me and i hold him i have a neat cloth carrier and i pet him threw thatit is mesh and i say ohh my daddy and kiss him...usually on way home he is fine..my sis thinks that cats are so smart when they first go they think they are gonna get a needle...LOL i think he was scared of my EX vet:) kayte
