YES!!! GOD does work miracles, just has to be in His own time. In the
meantime, you imagine the worst possible, don't sleep, cry and worry yourself
crazy. I don' understand why they feel they have to put us through all that
misery. Sometimes, Harley or Homey, actually any one of them will decide not
to come when called, do not answer me and because we are in the woods, I
imagine a coyote or some such creature has gotten them or they have been shot
and any of a dozen other things, call until I am hoarse and then they come to
the door with a Why don't you let me in? attitude. I don't knowwhether I
want to kill them for putting em through this o just love them to pieces
because I am so glad. Then I thank God for bringing them back home to me safe
and soun.

My refrigerator gave out and I had to get a new one. Harley tried sneaking out
3 different times and I gave chase. I knw they had to take the door off the
hinges to get the thing in, but I was a wreak by the time it was over with.
Then to make matters worse, the ice maker leaks and I can't get any water or
ice out of it till they fix it July 6.

Make a big sign, telling anyone who enters your home to never leave the door
open, under penalty of death or worse.
That's what I did when we had construction on the house...but did they even
bother reading my BIG sign? I was on pins and needles, constantly following
them as they went in and out, shutting doors after them.

Sherry, sorry Plato has crossed the Rainbow Bridge.  So glad he was loved
and cared for.  So many aren't.

Laura, I understand how you feel. Over 4 years I lost 10 FeLV rescues.
Mattie, my little blind girl, hit me the hardest.  She was the bravest and
sweetest little girl.   After the last positive died I found a kitten at the
dumpster colony I TNR and feed.  Angel was negative and got me into kitten
rescue.  In the end I kept Angel and have fostered several more kittens.  I
know as long as I am fostering kittens I can not take in any FeLV
cats.   Fostering the kittens has helped accept the loss of the positives.
Maybe I'll be able to take in positives again but for now the kittens need
me.  We all help out however we can.
