That red dye may be causing the problem. Some of it is made from shellfish and other things the cat (and a lot of people) have trouble with. I don't know about laminate and cat claws. Do yourself a favor and get a piece for the cats to run on for a while. I have pine floors with a shellac

Even though I do not have a dog nor would I feed ol roy, my Walmart store is on the list, as is my brother's Walmart Store in Staunton VA. He does feed Ol roy canned. I told him about Menu Foods Recall. He was careful to check the lot number and even held up the line in his store to ask
