If they are otherwise health, DO NOT be forced to put them down simply because they test positive for FeLV. Kittens/Cats can live several years and be healthy even with FeLV. Obviously, all cats (pets, people) die so when they get ill and in pain, that is the time to PTS, not when they

Angela, I think there is some confusion. I'm not sure why you euthanized your cat. Cats should never, ever be PTS just because of a positive FELV test, especially not if it is an in-house SNAP test. FELV is not cancer. It is a virus. There are cancers that FELV+ cats are more likely to get
