check the archives, because it HAS been discussed--hemobart is one of those things that seems to really be regional. one of my vets says that in the past five years, a much higher than 50 percentage of cats in this area are testing positive. are the tests just done more often? are they better

Thanks, This group is the reason Junior had the last year and a half. He thanks you all for that. His quality of life was good up until that last day. Sure he had his share of URI and the corneal ulcer, but all that was treatable. This last thing while maybe treatable would have been very poor

Just to clarify, my vet said Bartonella and Hemobart are not the same. I did the same thing and said something about Hemobart and she corrected me that they are positive for bartonella, not hemobart. I thought this was just a mail list, not a message board so I'm not sure how to check the
