can be from any donor cat. After that however, you need to have the correct

My Gray Kitty has had increased liver enzymes as well. His went into the
3,000! It was due to the high steroid dosage. As soon as we reduced it, it
has since gone into the 300's. He too was acting normal throughout.

When I had asked my family vet about anemia, (my cat was down to a HCT of 9 at
one point), he said they become very lethargic and just get tired and weak and

I have shared this information here before. However, our cat, Gray Kitty, was
diagnosed with FeLV on September 6, 2008. At that time he has a hematocrit of
9%..very near death. We have used LTCI since his second blood transfusion,
which has been many, many, months ago. We also use
Gray Kitty just turned 2 years old on September 6th. He was diagnoses on his
1st birthday. Up until about 3 or so months ago, he still tested positive with
both types of tests. He has had two blood transfusions and two bone marrow
biopsies. The second biopsy confirmed the FeLV had gone
Gray Kitty was diagnosed in 2007 as FeLV +. He now test negative, however, we
are dealing with Steroid Responsive Regenerative Anemia. He has been on a high
dosage of Pred for a year. We are looking into alternatives such as
Cyclosporin.
