Dearest Terrie,
I was saddened to read of your dear husbands illness.  Of course you need to
be with him at this difficult time.  As someone who will turn 64 this year, I
agree he far too young to be facing this.

You both are in my thoughts and prayers

Hi all,
I'm taking some time off from rescue due to my husband's illness. He has liver
failure and is not a candidate for a transplant. He has been hospitalized 2
times this month and once last month he was placed into a skill nursing
facility since the 18th of February after the first trip to the hospital.
He is in the end final stage of his disease his liver has stopped working.
Can die at any given time. He is being given all the pain meds he wants for
comfort so he will most likely fall asleep an never wake up again.
I want to make myself available at all times for him.
He is only 64 years old... I know to some of you that may sound old but it
isn't really.
Hospice has been part of this as well to help me cope with all of this. Hospice
is available to me 24 hours a day.

Sincerely,
Terrie

Terrie,

I am SO SORRY to hear what you and your husband are going through.  Know you
have my prayers.

64 is too young to go home.  But then a friend of a friend once told us that
those who leave earth early are the Good workers.  Everyone of us has a
mission to fulfill here on earth and we don't go home until we have done that.
Some of us are just quicker workers than others.  ;-)  Josh told us this a
week before he died of cancer.  He was 13.

You're husband has done his work well.  He'll go home with honors.

May you be supported in your grief with the knowledge that the separation is
only temporary.

God bless you both.

facility since the 18th of February after the first trip to the hospital.

Sincerely,

Terrie

You have my deepest sympathy and certainly my prayers will be with you and your
husband.
Sixty-four is young, these days and in this country. I'm sure you are correct
-- he'll be kept comfortable for the remainder of his days.
You are probably already spending precious time with him rather than reading
this. Please also take care of yourself -- as you know, you are going through
tremendous stress. I lost my mom in November and was with her when she passed.
It is difficult, but I was so glad to be there with her.
May you and your husband be enveloped in the light of love.
Wishing you Peace.

  Hi all,
I'm taking some time off from rescue due to my husband's illness. He has
liver failure and is not a candidate for a transplant. He has been hospitalized
2 times this month and once last month he was placed into a skill nursing
facility since the 18th of February after the first trip to the hospital.
