Re: {OT} FELV and FIV cats removed from Angel Wings yesterday
Hi Gary Angel Wings was a sanctuary where people sent animals that they could no longer keep for one reason or another...FeLV and FIV and others... And then they were pretty much abandoned About 100 animalsThe rescue people there did a tremendous job ay finding homes for them... There may still be a few left in foster care... Tad gary wrote: I wasn't on the list when this was originally posted but it seems to me that these cats were not very well cared for. What is/was "Angel Wings" and why would any of these cats be ones belonging to people who would want them back? Re: {OT} FELV and FIV cats removed from Angel Wings yesterday
To be totally fair...Because of talking with Jenn on this list about the situation before they were actually seized and saying that I would foster the FeLV+ cats in my garage during the summer if she would help find homes for them...Most all the cats looked about the same, neg. of pos... I suspect because the FeLV cats had a potential place to go saved their lives... But it took about a month to get transport to Vermont and during that month they were under vet care so that by the time they arrived here they were much improved from the day they were seized...
