This group is the reason Junior had the last year and a half. He thanks you
all for that. His quality of life was good up until that last day. Sure he
had his share of URI and the corneal ulcer, but all that was treatable. This
last thing while maybe treatable would have been very poor

Today Pewter got her booster shots for as they call it distemper feline
leukemia, and rabies. SHe manages to get in my rrom with regularity. This is
where I keep Junior my FELV+ kitty.
Next week is the one year anniversary of his positive test. He had a rough

been swollen for a while. The swelling would usually go down at night. He

Junior peed this morning a good amount, so I knew that was not his problem
yesterday. I gave him pumpkin this morning and some probiotics last night.
He pooped tonight a small amount and no straining. It was sort of hard. That

regulin shot and for now is done with that. He is being treated for the eye
infection. He hates that of course. He drooled terrible when I used the
Atropine sulfate in his eye. I think he licked some off. His

I think you need to find another vet that is willing
to try different things for Junior. Why does he want
you to have him put to sleep? I wouldn't go back to
that vet. I had to change vets with Smokey and so far
it has been the best decision. This new vet is
willing to try different medicines
Lysine also helps a lot with URI's. And the I-R shold have been about
$30 for the bottle and should last for enough doses to get him better if it is
going to work.

Junior who tested positive for Felv 10/6/06 is now running a fever of
106.7. I am scared and I feel so helpless.
I lost one cat less than two weeks ago. He crashed at the vet's office.
He was never tested

I'm sorry about your other kitty. And here are vibes that Junior gets
better. Don't let the vet railroad you into anything with him. If the
vet won't treat him just like they would a negative cat, leave. Here's

you brought him to knows what he's doing. You might want to look into
Immuno Regulin to try. Some of the list members have had good results
