Thanks, I know she did. She at least found out the cat was sick and he did
not go off and die on her. The cat taught her and her canine companions a
lot. She will definitely get another cat at some point.

Thanks, it is some comfort that my sister was able to find out the cat was
sick beforehand. Otherwise Slinky would have just disappeared. Eric saw
Slinky when he visited my sister in January and said he looked like my
Puttyrat.

Puttyrat went off and died, after only exhibiting symptoms for a day. I do
not think he had FELV but maybe he had a cat bite that did not surface and
drain. I am only guessing that because he was sore under his arm. I had
planned to take him to the vet the next day, but he had other ideas. I will
always miss my Puttyrat. Someday I hope to get another Siamese looking cat.
He was from a colony of 30 cats.

Hi Lynne

Thanks you. I wish I were closer to my sister to give her a hug. She is
having medical issues, and this is even harder for her.

Congratulations on your new kitty. I always assumed Junior had herpes as
well. I gave him L Lysine everyday.
BooBoo and Junior will be there for Slinky.
