As you can tell I have forwarded this to my other contacts.

 

Was this kitty re-tested for FELV since she was returned?

If so, which test was given?

Was the one that that takes only 15 minutes or the one that is sent out?

I know Siamese when stressed out can throw multiple postives on their test.

When the adopter returned this kitty did they show the results of the bloodwork done.

I was noticing that it was stated she was okay for adoption in the lobby?

Was this before the adoption?

I will try to help in placement of this kitty if I can.

Poor thing has gone through so much!

So she came in on the 9^th I have included the vet records and I will get you a photo as soon as possible.

 

“9/9/10 cat was owner surrendered today.

exam: cat is QAR. weight 11#12oz. body condition wnl. Ears clear. No ocular or nasal d/c. mm pink/moist. both lower canines and upper left canine tooth are fractured. minimal tarter on teeth. h/l wnl. Abdomen wnl. full coat. no fleas noted. spay scar noted.

A: fractured canines, otherwise appears healthy

P: dental wavier filled out. drew blood for felv testing. ok for adoption in the lobby. KR”

Thanks so much for getting back to me.  I will copy Traci at the Humane Society so she can provide the necessary info.

 

The kitty is female, gorgeous,  spayed and vaccinated.  Traci can tell you how long she’s been at the shelter – she had been adopted when the FeLV was detected – and was returned yesterday.  I hope that Traci can also provide you with a photo.  She’s a beautiful cat.

 

You may have better luck giving Traci at 253. 284.5871.

How long have you had this kitty in your care?

Male/Female?

Current on other vaccines?

Is this kitty altered?

Sorry for the questions but they are critical.

For me to get the plea out to save this kitty today I need info to send on to my other associates.

Not enough time if today is the deadline.

Message: I work at the Humane Society for Tacoma and Pierce County.
We have a beautiful, sweet 5-7 yr. old Sea Point who has tested
positive for FeLV and are trying very hard to find a placement for
her. Our shelter cannot accomodate these kitties due to the large
number of cats we receive.

If you feel there is any way you can help us, please contact me at
this address or Traci, our cat care coordinator at 253.284.5170
and/or tra...@thehumanesociety.org. She will be at the shelter
today - Saturday - until 5:00. I don't know how much longer the
kitty has before she is euthanized. Perhaps no longer than today.
