Re: [Felvtalk] Felvtalk Digest, Vol 25, Issue 21

2010-07-23 Thread Sara Kasteleyn
So sorry, Rachel. Will say a prayer and light a candle for your Nuj
tonight. This is so sad. Now there will be four candles lighting the night
for these special little spirits this evening here in SoCal. Know you are
feeling low. Sara

I lost my little Nuj last night. she was a little fighter, but in the
end, she was just asking for help in a different way. She maintained
her sweetness, cuteness, and definitely her dignity to the very
end...And she never stopped eating! I skinny little
piglet...Hemobartonella is so tough on these FeLV kitties, so if you
sense a change in energy in your babies, or a change in behavior
(acting tired or depressed), or a yellowing of the skin (especially in
ears, eyes, mouth, belly, if you can see it), act rather quickly
because the sooner it is caught and treated, the better fighting chance
they have. Nuj is up there playing (and probably fighting and loving
it) with my little Junie. Please say a prayer for them! Thanks, Rachel

A very? very sad week for us at Sids.Sharmell we lost July 20 and Colin
and
Holden we lost today. Very heartbreaking for us volunteers, but even
more so for
our wonderful Dr. Jen.She puts her heart in soul into these wonderful
babies,and
then we get to love them and take care of them and let them into our
hearts.So
every one of them that leaves us takes a piece of my heart with
them.Colin was
one of my favorites,he was a very shy boy when he came to us just over
2 years
ago.I won him over with the imfamous Temptations treats.I love you my
sweet
beautiful Colin.
Sharmell was a feisty black beauty, she spoke her mind and we listened.
:)
Holden wasa very handsome tiger boy who toughed it out in many ways.He
had awful
mouth issues but he ALWAYS stayed a sweet boy.
I LOVE YOU and will miss you all very much? :(
Thanks all for being here for me to talk to.
Sherry
