hardest part of the critter-parenting job is learning when it's time to let go, and whether we want to help them on their journey or not. everyone's truth about that is different, and, i know in my case, with experience and lessons taught by my fur children, my truth has grown and deepened with time. i make very different decisions, and at different times than i did with my first companions....
