Diane,
I've used the Cypro in transdermal form. Ask the vet about it instead of something else to force down Patches' mouth.

Precious Pets,
Prayers for the tiny little one's appetite to improve and put some weight on those tiny bones quickly. They're so darling and helpless at that age. I just trapped a little 5 week old that I'm assuming someone dumped near a new home development. He was so tiny that he didn't weigh enough to trip the trap. I had to use an empty water bottle and shoelaces to drop the door by "remote control", but I got him. How can anyone abandon such little itty bitties like that?

I use Cyproheptadine all the time for our cats that
are sick from bad URI's to FIP. Actually my vet just
prescribed it for my baby kitten of five weeks that
weighs just a pound. She is having issues eating
right now.
