She is going to have to have a leg amputated and now her other front leg is having a problem also. The vets seem to think she may have been bitten by a snake (we found one dead in the yard) or even an insect. She had a swollen foot and even though she was placed on antibiotics it grew and grew. They drained it and smothered it in antibiotic creams and she was on oral antibiotics. Yesterday she took a turn for the worse. I did not sleep all night for worrying about her. Just spoke with the vet and the foot with the lesser infection seems to be holding steady. They cannot amputate the bad leg because she is running a fever. PLEASE say a prayer light a candle ask for a special prayer for her. She is a rescued cat who we took in with her babies and we love her dearly.
