I received the email regarding the feline leukemia dog at Auburn so I
called Dr. Brenda Griffin (most of you probably know her = she heads up the
shelter medicine program). Anyway, she has confirmed to me that there is
not any dogs with feline leukemia anywhere. It is not a zoonotic
disease. Don't worry K-9's you're in the clear! It is only a feline
disease. Thanks!!
