--- Begin Message ---Bandy has a prescription of it..He gets 1/2 of a 5mg. pill every 8 to 12 hours as needed for pain. His vet gave it to him when he was having so much trouble with his legs. It would make him a little sleepy or seemed to, but that is all.. Also, his vet uses it after almost all surgeries including spays and neuters. I have used it in several other kitties after their surgeries..I don't know if they put it in a patch, but I do know that my Tom Cat that I lost in Sept. got the pain patch..fentonyl or something like that...the only thing I noticed about that was it really irritated his skin...it was really red..the vet commented that wonder why it did that???
