Hi Diane, I would get another vet to confirm that "heart murmur" before you fret about it. From what you describe, I'm betting it's not as big a concern as you might fear. Even if she does have a slight murmur, (I'm hoping she doesn't), it's not that uncommon a condition. Get backup on this

Yes... Heart murmurs seem to go along with something being off in a blood work up count... I have seen it along with kidney failure... It might be worth having a blood work up to see if there is anything that you could start working on before it gets too bad.. Tad Hideyo Yamamoto wrote

Sandy, did your vet tell you what grade the heart murmur is? The Sphynx rescue list I am also on gets on the topic of heart murmurs periodically (I suppose it's a risk of the breed), most of the cats on that list with murmurs are doing really good though. You hear more about bad heart problems
