I am praying for you and your precious Lucy. We all understand how hard
these decisions are to make. I think eating is the most important thing and
it is so hard when the cat is fighting you.

I am sure I will be in your shoes down the road with Junior. I spoke with
the vet yesterday about refilling his eye antibiotic. SHe said it wasn't
neccessary. He has lost most of the sight in his good eye and is adjusting
to his partial blindness. He never got steriod drops for his eye and I am
not sure if this will help with the dilation or not. His pupil is dialated
and irregular shaped. It has been this way for weeks. The conjunctivitis did
clear up so I am dsure the infection is gone. He is on Transfer Factor Plus,
CoQ10, lysine and Pet Tinic( now Pet Tabs plus Iron). He is definitely
feeling better and put back on some weight. I hate when he gets skinny. I
will leave him alone for a few days and see how the eye does.
I just went into the living room where he is sleeping on the vent(warm
there). I picked him up and instead of protesting or growling like he usally
does he was purring. He is feeling better. Maybe the Transfer Factor Plus
that was added to his routine a week ago. The vet says he should have visits
every 4-6 weeks. If he can go that long without a crisis that would be
great. I think he is past the initial infection stage. I am hoping to
maintain his health.

Thanks everyone for all your help. Lance thanks for answering my question
about the Transfer Factor Plus. I told my vet I was using this. It should be
interesting to see how he is a month from now. My vet doesn't normally run
lots of blood work. The anemia can be checked fairly cheaply in house. I
have paid some of the bill at the vet's office. The rest is on credit cards
and will take a while.

Thanks

Sally
