Yall are lucky in that respect. For me it is a much bigger risk to leave them unprotected for heartworms. Awareness is ok around here..we even have a billbord on I-35 - One heartworm can kill your cat. Treatment isn't anywhere naer as good as it is in dogs. So many times I find it is a matter
