Miss Princess Naughty Lola peered @ him like he was an oversized insect, she did not want him to get to close to her feathery baby fine cream chocolate furrage.. Miss Lillian, who actually came from the same hoarder as him, sniffed him but he was not allowed to sniff her, she growled. Papillon is mad, hiding in the bathroom, but I think he will be ok, Percy is so passive. Miss Ursula, my botiful doll faced Sealpoint, is hiding behind the couch, that is her comfort zone when she feels like she's being invaded. Percy is just so happy to be outta a cage, he was in a cage by himself in Julia's dry storage building.. He is so people oriented, it must have been hard on him. This was a good move, and thanks Diane for being supportive of me in making this decision yesterday. Susan, I absolutely LOVE Percy [As a name] And you are so right w/ your comment about Percy having many other names!!! I know, with my own purr-sonal experiences, both at home at shelter, all babies have their own purr-sonal list of names we go by..And what's absolutely amazing, and awesome, they all seem to respond to their name at that specific moment. They are so ever smart perspective... When people stop by house inquire about their names, I, of course, reel out the whole list for each one!!! Of course, never fails, I get that look tons of questions, mostly like why Fluffy or Tom wouldn't suffice Guess you must be a genuine critter person to understand, huh? [ Or, A CRAZY CAT LADY, which I've also been called.. NEVER to my face though. Go figure! ] Looks like you will have to put more dishes out.. Why thank you Wendy! This morning, Miss Ursula decided to come from behind the couch and have her breakfast. Percy hasn't taken his face outta his bowl since I set it down. Pappy (papillon) is still riding rough shot, hissing at the poor dear child.. Lillian was miffed because Percy slept in HER bed last night. Susan, What a beautiful description. What beautiful things you are doing...I am so grateful to know there are people as kind and thoughtful out there, making things better for all our little guys. I have only one little FeLV+ girl, but hang on to every word of advice and hope that comes from people, like you, who are so experienced. You have it down, that is for sure, when it comes to our cat buddies. They are all so amazing...What fascinates me, so much about cats, is that they are so easy to read. They have every emotion we have and no qualms about displaying them. I am excited for Percy getting a new life with you. Keep up the good work. Just thank you so much! Ahhh, thanks Glenda for the kind words of encouragement. So far,everything is pretty quiet @ Chez Mew. Percy is used to having lots of cats around (remember, he had 184 roommates@ one time) so he is walking up to the other cats and meowing @ them. They acknowledge him by thumping him on the noggle:( He moves to the next cat..Meow thumpthump,thump. He is getting punch drunk, but being a very good sport about it. Susan J.
