Okay, now I'm really scared. I went to look up the Natural Balance
website ingredients list of venison fresh green pea dry formula for
cats and as I suspected, there is no wheat gluten listed! What the Hell
gives?? I haven't checked the other dog/cat formulas being questioned
yet. Thanks
Is there a list somewhere which tells us what products they have so far
tested and which products have passed not just the one did not pass --

i don't know, hideyo--i just know that that site is one of, if not the most,
up-to-date site, and has links to just about everything that's come out so
far. you might just have to wander through it and see if there's someplace
with that info--unless someone else has found it?

It seems to me that you could feed all the info of every recalled
product into a data base program, (facilities where produced/ingredients
from the same source/etc), and start to get some sort of correlations
that we could actually use to figure out what/which products/companies
have tainted
I don't know Nina. I'm wondering the same thing. My
friend this weekend just bought the Natural Balance
(duck) for her dog that has allergies. He wolfed the
first few nuggets down that she gave him. I saw the
recall today and called her right away to let her know
to keep an eye out. There is

It's not just as simple as comparing ingredients when
you're talking about this many companies. They have
to compare all of the following: each ingredient, from
which company each came from, and then for each
individual ingredient, they need a list of ingredients
that made that ingredient, and
The death and sickness of what we are dealing with is a the real
nightmare. We've already been surprised about how few
factories/companies/suppliers are truly involved in the making of our
processed pet foods. It can be done. I don't know how long it would
take to track this sort of data

Thus the effects of a global economy...things were so
much simpler when we weren't buying over 75% of our
goods from overseas. I think it's dangerous to our
very existence to set up our national economy in this
manner. Here's to buying U.S. made only!!! And I
will not be buying anything Chinese

*Hard to say... but if you go to http://www.howl911.com/#foods the FDA shows
those as recalled on 4-05-2007. This site seems to have the most current
information.*
