Re: Spanky - CLS
Dear Sheila I just wanted to say how sorry I am that you lost your dear Spanky. What a dreadful shock for you. I can well understand your devastation in losing him---the suddenness and the unexpectedness of it make it so hard. I'm glad he was so very loved, and I hope the good memories you have of the dear little soul are giving you at least some small measure of comfort as the days go by. I'm truly sorry I didn't see your email until now, but please know I'm thinking of you, love and hugs Kerry - Original Message - From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: felvtalk@felineleukemia.org Sent: Thursday, July 14, 2005 8:32 PM Subject: Spanky - CLS Belinda, Please add my boy Spanky to CLS he was felv + and had a pu surgery two years ago. He was fine this morning eating going to litter box. This was so unexpected I am in complete shock. He showed no sign of sickness. He was gray and white rag doll 12 years old. He gave me kisses and headbutts everyday even when he was not feeling well. He was so gentle and loving and I can't imagine waking up tomorrow and not seeing his beautiful face. You would think after losing so many precious ones that it would get easier, but this has really broken my heart.Sheila

Re: Spanky - CLS
Sheila, I am so sorry for yout loss. 12 years old for a positive is exceptional as I'm sure you know, but it doesn't help much right now. Take care of yourself and try to think of Spanky feeling well all the time now. Can you tell me what pu surgery is? tonya[EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Belinda, Please add my boy Spanky to CLS he was felv + and had a pu surgery two years ago. Re: Spanky - CLS - PU
Perineal Urethrostomy. When the male kitty has a blockage and can't urinate its surgery to give them another opening.Spanky blocked several times (flutd) and almost died. After two surgeries he never had a problem a gain. I think they remove their penis. The first time scar tissue caused him to close up and he had to have a second surgery to make the opening bigger. We loved to call him Spankette our little girl.
Re: Spanky - CLS - PU
I thought that's what it was but didn't know the terminology. "Spankette"! Naughty, Naughty!! I have a cat that was neutered so young I swear he's gay. He's very submissive and kind of 'comes on' to the other males. t[EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Perineal Urethrostomy.
