Well, the high fiber isn't due to the hair loss. The high fiber is due to the chronic diarrhea. At this point he is not convinced that she has IBD. It may have been giardia for all this time that was just not detected in the initial fecal. My normal vet did not diagnose her with IBD

I took my Ciara in to see the vet again yesterday. (She is my IBD? kitty). She had stomatitis and had 8 teeth removed to address that. She was diagnosed at that vet (not my regular vet) with IBD. Now we are wondering if it is actually Giardia, and not IBD, which would be a relief. S
