prunes since it was gentlier on
her stomach.
I use to give her a few oz a day to keep her regular and seemed
to work will as part of her diet.

We did a CBC on her last week. The only thing that
was abnormal was her white blood cell count. It was a
little high but they did a urinalysis on her and she
had an infection.

I haven't tried the B12 injections. The vet seems to
want to rule out cancer first. She lost a pound in
just over a week. He seems to think all her signs
point to cancer.

Cindy,
Carla touches on a very good point. If you aren't seeing a specialist,
(a board certified internist perhaps), then you may be missing something
that even the best gp type of vet wouldn't know about. Could you ask
your regular vet for a referral?

Hi Cindy,
Stinky sounds like a wonderful kitty and I can feel all the love you
have wrapped up in her. Many prayers that she begins to recover soon.
I hesitate to even mention this because it's so simplistic, but
sometimes vita B12 injections can help with nutrient absorption
problems. Have
3yrs
for me when my cat was diagnosed. Someone on the list I beleive
told me.
Do you have a big animal medical center near you or email
Cornell univeristy they may know.
