I agree with you on the charities...the money seems to go elsewhere instead of where it's suppose to. So I tend to shy away myself from them too. I don't think your the only one in this

Actually its the children's book market that is harder to break into than the adult book market. All the actors actress, muscians, sports figures etc. are taking a side-line writing children's books and the publishing houses are eating them up.

Actually Nina, I AM an illustrator/sculptor. The major problem with getting a book published these days...all the publishing houses want are celeberty authors, and they all prefer to use their own illustrators. I get good feed back, but the answer is always the samewithout representation
