My holistic vet has also recommended Pau D'Arco. I used it with 
Ethan, my Felv+, as part of his supplementregiment.
Most recently, I used it last summer nursing the distemper kittens.

Well with two positives in the rescue now I am looking into more immune 
boosters
I am a lysine believer and the interferon.
A good friend recommended Pau D'arco Barkgoes right in the drinking 
water
any one have experience with it good or bad?

My dog Fern was on Pau D'Arco, along with a thousand other things, when she 
had sarcoma. They gave her 2-6 months and she lived 18 months. I doubt it was 
due to the Pau D'Arco alone, but it certainly didn't seem to hurt.

And probably made you feel better giving it to her? I wish Kitty 
would let me give her supplements but she refuses anything she thinks might 
possibly have anything added to it..including refusing freshly cooked 
chicken for dry cat food. She is CAT.
