An absolute MUST: CoQ10 - get the powdered version that is Vegetarian at
GNC, or I've been told Whole Foods also carries the capsules in powder form.
Open capsule, mix 1/2 of 100mg into food daily! Vitamin C would also help,

I've also seen flagyl/metronidazole mentioned (used in conjunction with
antibiotics, I think)perhaps you could ask your vet about this?
Trental is another thing I read about helping a difficult case.
I don't think I would wait 10 days to get her seen. Two weeks is
enough for me to go nuts.
