I've been told the sameIFA test if cat has ever had a positive ELISA (snap) test. I have been told by my vet that 6 mos is safe to say that if it test negative after 6 mos of being exposed, then it's good. But once the cat/kitten receives a positive IFA test, then it's infected for life.
