I'm so sorry for your loss of Albert. At least he lived a long happy life and wasn't sick until the end. That is always the best way to go. Re: Please add Albert to the CLS
Just wanted to thank you all for your thoughts and prayers...they help so much and all the words of wisdom, too. Thanks, too for remembering Bandy and Inky...Inky is just one tough kitty..We celebrate his birthday the 9th of every month..so May 9, he was 20 and 9 months. I received a card from Bandy's internal med vet the end of Feb. letting me know that they had made a memorial contribution in his name to the Christian Veterinary Mission..I couldn't believe it since he had been gone over 2 months then and people were still thinking of him..It made me happy and sad, guess you all know what I mean.. Our thoughts and prayers are always with you in your losses and for those with sick ones.. If I can be of any help anytime, just let me know since I haven't been on here much lately, you can email me direct. I would be glad to help if I can.. My best to you all, Kerry - Never miss an email again! Yahoo! Toolbar alerts you the instant new Mail arrives. Check it out.

Re: Please add Albert to the CLS
Kerry, It's so hard to say goodbye. There are so many things about Albert that will help you deal with his loss after you have time to heal. He lived to a ripe old age; he left the earth in exactly the way, at least I, would want to, (in relatively good health until the end; with time to say goodbye and then quickly cross); you did right by him your entire life together, (even if his vet visit was stressful on his heart, you would have a harder time dealing with his passing if you hadn't sought medical help); the two of you spent so much quality time together, there could be no doubt that he was respected and loved. All these things will probably bring you comfort when you are ready. Right now, I know you are not ready. Right now, I know the sorrow of losing his warm presence is an open wound. It's so hard to say goodbye. Please take care of yourself, your other babies need you, you are a blessing to us and all those you care for. Remember all the good you do and remember that even if you don't fully realize the influence you have on so many others, your pain and sacrifice make a difference and we are grateful.
