OK - as I understand the message, she's in Minnesota, right? At the end of her email she states, I do this on my own as no one cares about cats up here (MN) and they just shoot them. I hope you are doing better then me as I am living on the Grace of God only. She has been doing this for 13 years. Thanks Gloria,I replied to the group I found it on and to the person who posted it as well. I've got to get to bed soon so it will probably be tomorrow evening before I can get any more info. Maybe there's a rescue that could help her out. Maybe I could send her a 'Christmas gift' if this is all on the up and up. Jennifer, I'm sorry to hear that Sebastian's not doing well. I'm behind on my email, so I'm sure you have already received a lot of replies. I really can't tell you what I would do in that situation. Only YOU can judge his quality of life, his will to fight this, etc... At some point you have to draw the line at what you think will help versus putting him through procedures that might cause more harm than good. I know this isn't much help, but it's such a personal decision, and it's so hard, but you are closest to Sebastian and know him best. Jennifer, Has it been ruled out that Sebastian's rear leg weakness may be due to anemia? My kitty Fu gets a 10 mg.'s of pred a day and 200 ml of fluids. His vet said that would lead to suppression of his red cell blood count - Fu needs those meds more; sometime's his back legs look wobbly. Jen, First take a breather for yourself, you are not doing Sebastian any good by stressing yourself, they can feel our emotions sometimes more than we can feel them.
