A News Item You May have missed" m

Why O Why do people have to take a great story, figure it isn't good enough,

then embellish it. Thereby creating not a tribute but a pack of lies and
then spread it around the internet bringing in my opinion tarnished glory to

the Hero. I went looking for photos of the funeral figuring it would be a
really great thing to see and post to the group. The more I looked around
the more upset I got at the person who forwarded (Paula Hanson). She says
the ever famous "I checked it". But had she, she would have to have known.

I found out that these weren't from the 45 men he saved. There were only 4
people in that particular patrol. The 45 Seals who were present and slapped
thier medals were his honor gaurd as pall bearers since every available Seal

in the area volunteered to be a pallbearer. What a tribute to their fellow
Seals. He saved lives that is for sure. He IS a genuine American hero. He
risked life and limb on multiple occurances saving other Seals under fire
prior to this tragic fatal incident.

Here is a link to the Navy's page on him. They do a whole lot better than I
ever could.
