I have no idea why, but Vuescan's crop box has gone loopy on me. I'm using 7.0.21. I've been attempting to scan some frames of 35mm colour neg film using the motorised film strip adapter in my Nikon LS30. I've been using the zoom function in Vuescan to adjust the edges to include the maximum

With the SprintScan LE, you might try downloading (from Microtek) their driver for the 35t+ scanner. In fact, you may be able to get the pre-Insight legacy driver from Polaroid's website. All I know is that the screen captures for the LE's driver program (from Polaroids' PDF files) were

This doesn't always work in all systems. With W98SE here it never does, I have to restart, although with W95 it was fine. Works evertytime on my Win98SE with Artixscan 4000T. I suspect there are a host of issues that allow this to work or not. Some combinations of hardare and software work

Rob, I think you're absolutely right about CD's having more format longevity than Iomega products. But I figure in five years, or maybe 10, we'll have be able to get 10 terabyte?? raid arrays with mirroring for a few hundred bucks and we'll transfer all our Iomega's or CD's or DVD's or whatever
