What software are you using? I sometimes get the lengthwise lines using Vuescan with a Minolta Scan Multi Pro, and the usual remedy of deleting vuescan.ini clears it.

Most obvious in darkish areas but not in totally black areas. I wondered if it could be dust on the CCD and did some dismanteling for cleaning but not all the way down to the CCD. I don't know if this helped.
