Good Morning,
I received my $200 rebate on Sat. Submitted the form in Sept.
Check was dated 12/20/01.
In fairness to Polaroid, I sent in two rebates for different products in
Sept, one for software from Amazon and another for Mac memory and I have not
received them.
Regards,
John in OKC
Nope, sent mine in about the same time.

Hi Tris,
It's been a while since I upgraded and it is early in the morning, but as I
recall I just had to enter the serial numbers on the package the CD came in
to prove ownership.I may have sent a fax of the receipt to them but I don't
recall. I don't remember the name of the woman that helped
Hi Roger,
Thanks for sending the tables, unfortunately I will be using a Mac for
scanning and I assume they will only work on a PC.
Thanks,

Hi Rob,
As a newby to film scanning, I would be thrilled to read your tutorial. I
purchased a SS4000 a couple of months ago, but due to workload this time of
year, I have just scanned a couple of slides to make sure it worked.
TIA,

Hi David,
Maybe I got lucky, I purchased the SS 4000 on 9/25/01 from Micro Tech.
Some one on this list posted a URL location for the software upgrade at a
special price. I went to the location and after registering the machine etc
I got an E-mail from a nice woman in Fla who asked if I wanted
Good morning,
I have always liked Sony products, but the horizontal lines in the Trinitron
tubes that you see on the screen are certainly bothersome.
After I ordered one online, and then observed this problem, I called the
seller and they said no returns, if this was a problem it was to be

I have been notified by my Professional lab and the Professional
Photographers of America not to send processed or unprocessed film through
the US mail due to the new equipment they are using.
Its is best to have all film, hand inspected. rather than go through the
machines. I understand now
might try getting some 1600 film and putting it

Hi Hersch,
Well this whole conversation has been interesting, it does sound like you
are damned if you do and dammed if you don't. Maybe when things become
standardized, there will be an answer to how to transport our film. I still
don't understand how processed film could be damaged. I just
Hi David,
I appreciate your help on this matter. I'm sure that once the court got
evolved that paper work has become incredible.
I have been a user of Polaroid products for over 30 years and can only wish
them and you the best.
It is a great company that has many good products and I am hopeful
