Doesn't the SS4000 come bundled with a SCSI card? I thought it did (but could be mistaken) as I have one here still in the package that I've never used as I had SCSI built in to my Mac. Unless it came with my CDRW, I'm pretty sure it came with my scanner (man, aging is hell). It is an Advansys

I just received my new SS 4000, and am wondering the same thing. Silverfast seems to be pretty powerful, but cumbersome. How does it compare to Vuescan in quality (not just functionality)? I'm looking for the best quality scans, with minimal fuss. The Polaroid software is much easier to use
