I'm looking for a way to place images on a CD ROM along with whatever
else would be needed so that any person I send the CD ROM to could view
these images (photo album) without having to load any application
software on their machine other than standard Windows components.
Does such a thing
Sure -- just make an "album" of web pages which you copy onto the CD.
Almost everyone has a web browser installed on their computer.
