Dimage II has a resolution of
2820 dpi. The older version one (SCSI) had the 2438 dpi resolution. The
newer Dual II is USB interfaced, as mentioned in the chart.

misunderstanding you? In a museum exhibit a few years ago of Ansel
Adams photographs it was very obvious to me that even the small
prints from the Hasselblad shots suffered in quality compared to the
very large 4x5 prints.

engines for SprintScan 4000 and all I found were left over holders.

sophisticated, though it does seem to work after a fashion, perhaps better
in some situations than others. I'll play around it some more before making
a decision on whether to buy or not.
