What software are you using? I sometimes get the lengthwise lines using Vuescan with a Minolta Scan Multi Pro, and the usual remedy of deleting vuescan.ini clears it. I'm using Vuescan from about a year ago. I can't try any experiments at the moment as the power supply has just died on the

Using a Polaroid SS4000 on a PC with Win 2000 Pro, Polacolor 5.0, and Silverfast Ai 5.0, I am getting horizontal lines appearing on my scans. I've been watching this discussion as relativly receantly I have also started getting these lines on my SS4000. In my case they are in the direction of
