Are you by any chance using iKey 1.x? I had this all the time (with a different key) when using the older version of iKey. It only happened in Finale, but there must have been some kind of conflict between iKey and Finale. Upgrading to iKey 2.1 solved the problem. Cheers, - Darcy -

Friends, A MAC-using friend of mine seems to have lost contact with ALL of his MAESTRO and ENGRAVER fonts. I have not loaded FINALE on a MAC in a while, but there semms no CUSTOM load for the fonts. Any suggestions? He has a 2006b disk, but has upgraded to 2006d on a non-intel MAC;-) Henry

This is different than my experience. I found that if a .pdf file didn't display correctly in Preview, then Acrobat 7 would probably display it and print it correctly. Usually these were .pdfs from PC users. Isn't this odd! Incidentally, so far I have been using Apple's built-in pdf

Fonts are either in Library/Fonts or /Users//UserName/Library/Fonts (where Username is your user's name). Assuming you are using Finale on OS X. The suggestion about downloading the fonts is a good one. Or you can use the installer, and do a Custom Install and just do the fonts again. Dick

Hi Jef, Yes, holding the stuck key while clicking will unstick it. However, upgrading to iKey 2.1 is really quite painless. It's a bit of a drag to create *new* shortcuts in iKey, but if you already have everything you use regularly programmed in iKey 1.x, those shortcuts will transfer
