I know that, while depressing the Option key, we select under the
VIEW menu PROGRAM TOOL SET (choose Master Tool Set, one, two or
three), but how do we get what we want changed to come up the next
time we select that set?

There is no easy solution, as measure numbers in the score and parts
cannot be unlinked.
I still use the old method of having a score and a parts copy. So when
I think that everything possible has been entered in the file I save
that as score and then save as for the parts. Where I alter
