Yes, that was the file I changed in earlier versions. For Finale 2012 I
needed to edit the "Engraved Default" file.

dennis, thanks for sending. as far as i can tell the only thing the
font is not displaying are diacritical letters...
i thought maybe there was some confict with the system helvetica, but
shouldn't be, they have different names.
still perplexed...

i have a client who has the commercial version of helvetica, it has
worked before, but now i am getting a print error when printing from
the finale-generated PDF and also directly from finale:
ERROR: invalidfont
OFFENDING COMMAND: xshow
i did a font replace from "helvetica neue LT" to the syst
I've sorted it - it wasn't the "Maestro Default" file that controlled this
but the "Engraved Default" file.
