I'm beginning to grapple with Fin14, and it looks to me as if there are two
completely different ways to accomplish the same thing at both the key and
staff levels.
At the key level we have the new Keyless option. I think that is a great

I tried creating a one page document out of the main one and using it only for

I'm using Finale 2009 on a Mac Pro, and I've run into something puzzling. I'm
working on a score that includes Bb Bass Clarinet, which Finale defaults to the
treble clef. I want to change it bass clef, but Finale won't let me do it. In
fact, it won't let me change the clef to anything at all.
Try going to the Instrument List in Score Manager. In the lower right is a
clef option. Fiddling with this may help. Sometimes there's more than one
approach in Finale, and it's not always clear which one dominates.

One odd thing with lyrics, (but this happens with 2012 also) - Make
sure you put whatever page you are editing on the RIGHT side of the
screen. When I try to click and move lyrics on the left edge, it hangs
up.

Look at the transposition for the instrument (Staff Attributes) - uncheck Set
to Clef and you'll have the clef control back.

tweaked. I'll reiterate what has been expressed by many in this forum often
over the years: we would love a release that just fixes bugs. The last
