Linda, Hide empty staves is in the staff tool. In page view, right click (or control click) on the handle of the staff system you want to affect. Double click to select all staves. A dialogue box will appear with choices, including "Hide Empty Staves." Don't know the answer to the other

I'm feeling brain dead. I can't find some of the commands and menu items I've been used to. It's very disorienting! These are things I have used for years, and cannot locate in the version of Finale Mac 2014 Where is the "hide empty staves"? Where is the command to keep the staff spacing you

Hi all, Finale 2014.5, Windows 10 Any idea how to break a stem? Client wants a stem to pass through a rest (8th, 16th, 32nd), visually breaking the stem as it does so. I've tried creating a rest character with an opaque background, but it also obscures the staff lines. Thanks, Dennis PS: If
