[Finale] Adding new staves to a (nearly) finished score

I need to add a couple of staves to a score that is nearly complete. (For string divisi.) The problem is, when I do so it destroys all my optimization up to that point because it forces the new staff to appear on all the previous pages. Is there any way to have this not happen when I add a staff?
