[Finale] Advice on drum set notation

There is a style of drum set notation that has slash notation in the measures, but the punches are written as regular notes above the percussion staff. I can't figure out how to make this happen in Finale. I trued using a second voice for the punches, but if the measure is set to slash

That is getting closer to what I need. My other message was in error. I said I didn't apply a staff style and instead simply clicked on the measure from within the staff tool and set alternate notation. That has the undesirable result of setting EVERY measure to slash notation. I think I get

I think I have mostly figured this out. You don't apply the slash style. Instead you put the punches into layer 2, then select the staff tool. Double click the measure and select alternate notation. In the alternate notation, you select slash notation applied to layer 1, then under all
